They oversee product development lifecycles, manage relationships with technology vendors and partners, and ensure the organization's technical capabilities support current and future business objectives. Daily activities involve strategic planning meetings, technology reviews, team leadership, vendor negotiations, budget management, technical architecture decisions, and presenting technology initiatives to board members and stakeholders. CTOs also stay current with emerging technologies, assess competitive technical landscapes, and drive innovation initiatives throughout the organization.
