They conduct content audits, identify optimization opportunities, manage content management systems and publishing workflows, align content with different stages of the buyer journey, and coordinate with product marketing to create compelling product-focused content. Daily activities involve content strategy development, editorial calendar management, content creation oversight, performance analysis, team collaboration, stakeholder communication, and continuous optimization of content marketing programs. Content Marketing Managers also manage relationships with freelancers and agencies, conduct competitive content analysis, develop content guidelines and best practices, and ensure content supports overall marketing and business goals.
