Senior Software Engineer, AI Automations
About the Company
Our client is a fast-growing Y Combinator-backed Voice AI startup reimagining the contact center with cutting-edge voice AI. Since launching 18 months ago, thousands of companies now use their AI voice agents to handle sales, support, and logistics calls that previously required large human teams. With $60M ARR (up from $5M at the start of 2025) and a team of 30, they're scaling fast. Their 2026 vision is to build a modern CX platform where entire contact centers are powered by AI β frontline agents, QA analysts, and managers, all continuously executing, monitoring, and improving customer interactions.
Recognised on the a16z top 50 AI apps list, Brex's Fast-Growing Software Vendors of 2025 (#4), Wing's Enterprise Tech 30, and consistently ranked among the top startups on the Lean AI Leaderboard.
The Role
As a Senior Software Engineer focused on AI Automations, you'll build and own the internal systems that power how the company operates, sells, hires, and stays compliant. This is a high-leverage, cross-functional engineering role focused on automating business-critical workflows across HR, GTM, Finance, Security, and Operations. You'll work directly with founders and functional leaders to turn manual, error-prone processes into scalable, reliable systems using modern tooling, APIs, and LLMs.
Ideal for an engineer who enjoys full-stack development, moves quickly in 0β1 environments, and wants to deeply understand how a fast-growing AI company actually runs.
Key Responsibilities
- Build core business automations end-to-end: requirements, architecture, implementation, deployment, and iteration
- HR & Recruiting: resume ingestion and candidate evaluation pipelines, candidate scoring systems, AI-assisted recruiting tools (screening, recruiter assistants, interview coordination), automated candidate outreach and follow-ups
- Security & Compliance: automations for customer contracts (BAA, DPA, DocuSign workflows), automated security and compliance questionnaires, partnering with legal and security stakeholders to encode compliance logic into reliable tools
- Operations & Finance: accounts receivable workflows, invoicing support, automated customer communications, enterprise customer onboarding tooling
- GTM & Revenue Engineering: CRM and GTM automations, customer lifecycle automations (signup, onboarding, expansion, renewal), targeted website/ads/email personalization
- Integrations & Platforms: integrate with third-party systems, design APIs and internal services that scale company growth
