In this role, you will lead strategic network segmentation implementation projects using Akamai Guardicore Segmentation solution. This role blends technical expertise, customer-facing consulting, and program management responsibilities.

As a Security Architect Senior II you'll work closely with clients and internal teams to delivers aligned with Zero Trust principles.

As a Security Architect Senior II, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the planning, installation, and integration of the Akamai Guardicore Segmentation platform in hybrid and complex environments
• Designing and enforcing network segmentation strategies across data centers, cloud, and OT environments, aligned to Zero Trust principles.
• Managing customer engagements throughout the delivery lifecycle: architecture design, policy planning, deployment, configuration, documentation, and executive alignment.
• Delivering advanced consulting services such as customizations, training, and configuration optimization.
• Providing high-level architectural guidance, design validation and escalation support to partners, ensuring partner ownership of day-to-day operations is maintained
• Partnering with Customer Success, Engineering, and Support to resolve complex challenges and ensure long-term customer value.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have fluent written and spoken Spanish and English
• Have 8+ years experience in Professional Services, consulting, or Security Architecture roles.
• Have deep knowledge in Networking (TCP/IP, Layer 37), Firewalls, and Operating Systems (Linux/Windows).
• Have hands-on experience deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting enterprise-grade security or network software.
• Have proficiency in scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) and familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible).
• Have familiarity with Kubernetes networking (CNI, pod-level enforcement, service mesh).

Active industry security certifications such as CISSP, CCNP Security, or Zero Trust Architect credentials.
