| 8-10 years of relevant exeprience in Networking and network security Manage and support enterprise network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and internet connectivity. Troubleshoot and resolve L2-level network issues related to routing, switching, firewall, and connectivity within defined SLAs. Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. Handle escalations from L1 team and provide timely resolution with proper root cause analysis (RCA). Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. Support network changes, upgrades, and patching activities with minimal business disruption. Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and service providers for issue resolution and project execution. Ensure adherence to network security policies, including firewall rules, access controls, and vulnerability remediation. Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and configuration records. Proactively identify risks, performance bottlenecks, and improvement areas in the network environment. Provide support for audits and compliance requirements related to network infrastructure. Participate in DR drills, failover testing, and ensure network readiness for business continuity. Deliver clear, concise, and professional communication to stakeholders, including incident updates, RCA reports, and status reporting. Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills while handling users, clients, and cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and ensure high customer satisfaction. |
| Technical Requirements: Strong understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, OSI model, subnetting, VLANs, STP, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP). Hands-on experience with network devices from OEMs like Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, or similar. Experience in firewall configuration and management (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA). Knowledge of VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN) and remote access solutions. Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark). Understanding of wireless technologies, controllers, and access point configurations. Exposure to load balancers and proxy solutions is an added advantage. Basic understanding of network security concepts, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management. Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS/Azure/OCI VPC, subnets, routing, security groups) is a plus. Experience with scripting/automation (Python, Bash) is an added advantage. Relevant certifications preferred: CCNA/CCNP or equivalent. |
