Role description:
As a Product Designer, you’ll help shape the future of urban mobility through thoughtful, impactful design. You'll work on innovative B2B(2C) digital products in the mobility and transportation space, helping cities and organizations improve how people move — from optimizing curb management to enhancing commuter journeys through real-time, multimodal trip planning.
Our transportation technology solutions integrate transit, parking, taxi services, and predictive insights, empowering cities to make smarter decisions and deliver better services. You’ll play a key role in transforming complex transportation ecosystems into intuitive, seamless experiences, while contributing to a user-centric design culture at Arcadis.

Role accountabilities:
Collaborate on end-to-end design across transportation products, delivering intuitive experiences that simplify complex systems.ms more intuitive and accessible.
Work with product managers and stakeholders to help define and clarify business and technical requirements, ensuring designs align with user needs and product outcomes.
Design and iterate on user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, ensuring consistency, scalability, and a high standard of quality.
Conduct user research and usability testing to deeply understand user behavior, motivations, and needs, and use insights to drive decisions.
Test design hypotheses, using experimentation and feedback loops to support continuous improvement.
Contribute to our design system, creating scalable, accessible components and ensuring consistent user experiences in our products.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and customer-facing teams to align design with business goals and technical constraints.
Ensure high-quality execution, working closely with developers to uphold design intent throughout the implementation process.
Present and communicate design work, articulating rationale and trade-offs clearly.
Contribute to a collaborative, creative, and growth-oriented design culture.
Qualifications & Experience:
3+ years of experience in UX/UI or product design, with a proven ability to create user-centered solutions across web and mobile applications.
Experience designing for enterprise-scale or data-intensive applications, ideally in a B2B(2C) context.
Proven ability to design for global audiences with diverse needs, ensuring accessibility and cultural relevance.
Experience with the end-to-end design process — from discovery and research to delivery and iteration.
Strong interest in UX research skills, such as conducting interviews, field studies, usability tests, and synthesizing findings into actionable insights.
Experience in working with design systems — both in using them effectively as in contributing to them.
Great problem-solving ability, with a knack for turning complexity into elegant, intuitive experiences.
Great proficiency in English, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate and collaborate with global teams and stakeholders.
A portfolio review presentation is expected as part of the interview process. Your presentation should showcase your design work, highlight your problem-solving approach, and demonstrate your storytelling skills. We’re also looking for a genuine interest in the mobility and transportation space, so bring that to life through clear and compelling communication.
