Our client, a well-established company operating within the iGaming sector, is currently looking to hire a Junior Project Manager to support their growing operations in Malta.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who is organised, proactive, and eager to further develop their career within project management while working in a fast-paced digital environment. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with various internal teams to help coordinate projects across several business areas including sportsbook, casino, payments, live gaming, and other product verticals.
The role involves supporting project delivery from planning through execution, ensuring timelines, communication, and project documentation are managed efficiently.
## Tasks
* Assist with the coordination and execution of projects across multiple brands and business functions.
* Work closely with project managers, product teams, developers, designers, QA specialists, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project progress.
* Keep project-related documentation updated, including timelines, meeting notes, status reports, and risk logs.
* Organise and participate in project meetings such as stand-ups, sprint reviews, and stakeholder updates.
* Monitor project schedules and identify potential delays, risks, or blockers, escalating where necessary.
* Support scope management processes and ensure any project changes are properly documented.
* Provide regular progress updates to internal stakeholders and team members.
* Assist with implementing new project processes, tools, and templates within the PMO structure.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and retrospective discussions.
* Coordinate with external vendors or third parties when required for integrations or platform-related updates.
## Requirements
* Previous experience within a Project Management, Project Coordination, or PMO support role, ideally between 1–3 years.
* Experience within the iGaming industry would be considered an advantage.
* Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams.
* Experience using project management platforms such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, or Monday.com.
* A detail-oriented and solution-focused mindset with a proactive approach to work
* Ability to work effectively within a deadline-driven and fast-moving environment.
* Understanding of digital product development and QA processes would be beneficial.
* Exposure to CRM systems, payment integrations, sportsbook, or casino products would be considered a plus.
* A certification such as PRINCE2 Foundation, PMP, Scrum Master, PSM I, or CSM would be advantageous, though not mandatory.
