Evaluates the candidate's ability to make reasonable decisions under uncertainty, pivot when new data emerges, and remain composed under pressure. Candidates should demonstrate how they prioritize investigations, gather the minimum viable evidence needed to act, balance speed against thoroughness, escalate when required, and iterate on solutions as additional information becomes available. Interviewers will look for examples that show sound trade off reasoning and learning from ambiguous situations.
