Privacy and On Device Design Questions

Designing systems under strong privacy constraints with emphasis on on device processing and edge computing. Topics include minimizing data collection, encrypting data in transit and at rest, local processing on devices, trade offs between on device and cloud processing for latency and accuracy, techniques such as federated learning and anonymization, differential privacy concepts, secure enclaves and hardware based protections, user consent and transparency, and compliance with platform and store guidelines.
