Automation Scripting and Infrastructure as Code Questions

Ability to automate routine and complex database administration tasks by writing maintainable scripts and defining infrastructure as code. Candidates should be able to automate provisioning, configuration, backups, restores, schema migrations, health checks, and operational run books; integrate automation with version control and continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines; author idempotent infrastructure as code to provision database instances and networking; handle secrets and credential management securely; and include testing and observability hooks so automation is auditable and safe to run in production.
